I got myself a Kaoss Pad 3 which is a sample/effect processor bit of ace equipment. I've been wanting to give it a go for ages and this is the result of my first encounter with it.
It is all freestyled and done live in one take with my microphone plugged into one Kaoss Pad 3.
All the sounds are voice generated and manipulated with the effects in the Kaoss Pad in real time.
There is much more to come like this and more...

Our recent good news is our first singe which will be out in March was played by Rob Da Bank and Ferne Cotton in the past couple of days on Radio1! We're totally stoked about this! You can listen to it here 43mins into the program.

This weekend I went to hang out on a new TV show hosted by the awesomo Tim Shaw. It featured a collection of weird and wonderful human beings including a magician and contortionist, a professor, a rapper, a clairvoyant, an ex sas dude, a dominatrix, a beatboxer, a man who lifts a car battery with freshly pierced arms, a film director, Lord Brocket and a couple of bands amongst others.
I had a blast and have put together the bits of video I made while I was there in this little video blog including a freestyle beatbox I did with Klumzy Tung freestyle rapping and Chris Crossdoing strange things with his body!

I'm headed down to London to play my first show of the year at Excel Exhibition Centre. I am well rested, my voice is enjoying a level of clarity it hasn't experienced for a long while thanks to my new year booze abstinence and i'm looking forward to hearing it blurting out a 15k rig this evening.
The event is a wakeboarding competition... i'm hoping to pick up some tips as i was pretty bad at it the one time i tried, although I only had a couple of goes.

So first of all Happy New Year! I hope you've been having fun and are ready to smash it to the new year.
My resolution when it comes to beatboxing is to make sure I keep posting lots of videos of my various beatboxing endeavors... last year I posted... wait for it... NO new videos. For this I am sorry and ashamed and now I have a load of new stuff waiting to be filmed and posted... and that's a promise!
I shall start off with a short clip of my show at Beats on the Beach in Abu Dhabi for the Grand Prix event. There's only a few clips that came out ok as my camera died so I only had my phone... booo.... but i'm waiting for some of the official video to come through so you can see the whole show.
I shared the lineup of the festival with the likes of Linkin Park, Kanye West and PRINCE to name a few and played to around 30,000 people on the beach stage, just before the headliner... was totally awesome!
